Two Rivers Mission update

peter enews 6
Having hardly caught my breath from Cornwall 2, I am immediately back into preparing The Two Rivers Mission for next May.  This is how retirement is meant to be, so they say!  A big difference this time is having the full weight of TFM administration behind me, along with a wonderful mission partnership with John.
Another joy is the privilege of having of 26 Mission Preparers already at work in 13 mission centres along the Colne and Stour valleys.  Good preparation has already begun against an invaluable and essential prayer background, which I wrote about last time.  Yet even more will be required since more and more churches are enquiring about being part of this expanding mission.

Some of you will have received copies of the small A5 leaflet about the mission inviting you to be a team member and prayer supporter.  In particular, for some unknown reason, it asks you to try to recruit younger team members – because you are not all re-tyred like me are you!   It is, however, a serious request for your efforts and your prayers.  Training weekends will be set up for new recruits.

My final challenge, as mentioned in my Perranporth report, is for reciprocation from Cornwall 2.  If 50 Christian men and women from the churches that have received teams from across the country coming to strengthen their outreach, are willing to gather for a training weekend in Redruth, I will be delighted to re-visit to lead the weekend.  Anybody up for it?  If so, please let the TFM office know.
