Future Missions

Below is a list of up and coming missions to be run by TFM.

If you wish to volunteer for a mission then please contact the TFM office. Please be aware that we will make our allocation as soon as we are able but not on a first-come-first-served basis; rather we need to create balanced teams and meet the needs of the local church programme. The nature of smaller missions is that we cannot guarantee to place everyone who applies.

 

 

Flame of Hope  Chippenham Deanery

Dates:

12 - 27 May 2012

Description:

Two week mission with rural churches in Wiltshire

Team needs:

4-5 small teams (6-8 people)  Teams are now full.

St Luke's, Prittlewell Southend

Dates: 9 - 17 June 2012
Leader: Daniel Cozens and Peter Adams
Description: This is a parish mission with a church in the Anglican Catholic tradition.
Team needs: Peter is recruiting a team of ten from the Essex area.  The team is full now.

Worthing Central

Dates: 9 - 17 June 2012
Leader: Roger Murphy
Description: Roger will be leading an area mission with the Worthing central and east churches to reach out to their communities as part of the Olympics Outreach year. More details to follow.
Team needs: A one-week (8-day) mission needing 2-3 teams.Teams are now full.

Tullylish NI 'More than Gold' mission

Dates: 24 June - 1 July 2012

Description: Roger leading mission in Tullylish, NI – ‘More than Gold’
Team needs: Team Members will be drawn from across NI.

Ultimate Gold  Stratford Olympics Outreach

Dates: 27 July to 12 August 2012
Leader: Roger Murphy
Description: Roger and the team have been working alongside the churches in Stratford in a partnership over the last couple of years to share the good news of Christ.
Team needs:

The plan is to have a team of around 30 - 40 members who will reach out to the International audience in many open air events during this period.


The team is full now. All team members will be sleeping on the floor at St John’s, Stratford (men and ladies), working with a local team of about 80.

Bridport

Dates:

Description: This will be a weekend mission, returning to Bridport as a follow up to Walk West Dorset.

Team needs:

Team Members will be drawn from those who originally went to Bridport on WWD. No one else need apply.

 


Worthing Broadwater

Dates: 15 - 23 September 2012
Leader: Roger Murphy
Description: Roger will be leading an area mission with 6 north Worthing Broadwater churches to reach out to communities as part of the Olympics Outreach year. More details to follow.

Ingleton

Dates:

6 - 14 October 2012

Description:

Week-long mission in Ingleton & hopefully a number of other nearby villages

Team needs:

One or more mixed teams by invitation only - not open to general application

Walk Cornwall 2 - Kerdh Kernow 2

Description: Our major Walk mission of 2013, a return visit to Cornwall 20yrs after WC1.
Team needs:
