Essex University CU Events Week

Imagine a mission where the team is made up of people under the age of 25 and the audiences at events are mainly in this age bracket too …

John Hibberd reports on his recent week with the Christian Union at Essex University.

Glengormley Mission Belfast

Roger had a good mission in Glengormley Methodist Church in Belfast recently. The events were fairly well attended but there were not as many people invited as we would have wished. However there were around 60 responses, many new Christians – some key people coming to faith. Some lovely stories emerging and Sunday morning was special with a real sense of the Holy Spirit moving in many peoples’ lives with some responding in tears at the end of the service.

Roger writes "We also managed to get into the local primary schools for 30 min assemblies and also into the High school to take 8 lessons all day for the RE department. All those who responded during the week have been followed up, some with mentors, and around 30 are attending an Alpha Course. Please pray for Charles Harris, the minister and the mission team."
