richard b5 photoshop smallIt’s been a busy start to the year!  In late January David Baslington and I had a useful time in Belfast teaching the new crop of SCE students and liaising with New Wine Ireland concerning future course administration.  From there I flew to Liverpool to speak at a combined churches meeting in Wallasey prior to the mini-mission there in May.  The next morning I took the train to Edinburgh to join Canon Michael Green and other evangelists in the biggest mission yet to the four universities in the city.  That proved highly successful, with many students responding at lunchbar meetings and at the evening meetings in Greyfriars Church.  Follow-up is underway at meetings in Costa Coffee with students divided into 2 groups, ‘Tell me more’ for seekers and ‘Count me in’ for those who had made a commitment.

Richard Scott   TFM Lead Evangelist

Walk Uganda February 2015

enews 1A small group of TFM team members have recently returned from a three week mission to Uganda lead by Richard Scott.  Richard writes:  “I particularly wanted to be part of this mission as I have a love for Africa having worked extensively in Tanzania and been part of many missions in Kenya.  But as yet, despite TFM teams going to Uganda since 2000, this particular mission had passed me by!  We spent just under 3 weeks working with 3 different pastors. The first week was spent 1 hour north of Kampala in Lukomera in Luweero District.  The second week in Kagadi, west Uganda, and the third week back near Entebbe at a place called Ndejje.”

A full report on the mission can be found here on the TFM website.
