Day 8 - Day 1 of week 2!

Week 2 is under way.  The teams gathered in Truro Methodist Church this morning and then progressed to the Cathedral steps where Bishop Chris commissioned everyone in a service led by Peter Adams.

Now they have set off to their mission centres.  100% improvement (or is that deterioration?) on last week - we lost 2 people!  Still not quite sure where they are but I am sure they will turn up!  They were at registration so can't be far a way.













As ever we try to look out for passers by to speak with.  One tm spoke with a German lady here on holiday.  She was a Christian and when she heard what we were doing was amazed saying that they don't do anything like this in her country.

We were also interviewed by Donna Birrell from Radio Cornwall and hopefully this will be broadcast as part of the Sunday morning show tomorrow.  The Rev Elaine Munday who came to faith on WC1and is now based in Bodmin was interviewed and also reunited with the team member who was instrumental in that convertion 20 years ago - still coming on mission today!

Another team member was interviewed by 'Faces of Cornwall' so hopefully something will appear here soon.  They did a piece on John Hibberd's prayer walk last June.
