call to prayer iamge 3

A call for Prayer for Through Faith Missions at Pentecost

Sunday 15 May 2016

TFM is asking everyone to commit time on Pentecost Sunday to pray for our work.  Whether it is 5 mins or 5 hours, your prayers underpin what we do and we are very grateful.

The next 6 months are a really crucial period for us as we look to developing our work, consider taking on more staff, particularly someone to prepare missions and another evangelist.  We need to seek God for guidance and, if we are to move on anything, the resources of people and money to do them.

Prayer Points

 Missions

Missions remain the focus of what we do.  Please pray that God will guide us in arranging missions for 2017 and beyond.

• Staff

Discernment on new appointments.  We are currently looking at a Minister of Missions (someone to oversee mission requests and the liaison with churches), and another evangelist.

• Ireland

The development of a new evangelist role specifically in Ireland, to continue the legacy developed particularly by Roger Murphy.  This is a proposed partnership with the Irish church.

• Finances

If we are to develop staff and mission opportunities, we need more people to commit to funding.  TFM has historically not asked for money on any regular basis.  The word Faith in our title remains important.  If we are doing what God wants us to do then He will provide.  However we cannot just assume people know of the needs if we don’t tell them.

• Wisdom

For the Trustees as they support and guide the staff.
For the mission staff; Richard Scott, Roger Murphy, Daniel Cozens, David Culhane, Roz Haycock.
For the admin team; David Baslington, Denise Frisby, Michael Watts.

• Links

For links with other organisations; that we might work better together in sharing the gospel across our nation.
